And here's charming character! He's just one of a collection of caricatures of people I know that I've named Himlyns and Herlyns! They usually have a poem to go with them, though not always.
One day a himlyn called Matthew
Went out for a walk with his dog.
He decided he' like to ride his bike,
Instead of going for a jog.
He tied the dog very firmly
To the shiny handlebars,
Then put his feet to the pedals
And pretended to cycle to Mars.
Everything was going just fine
Until a cute lil moggy ran by
The doggy then gave great chase
And pulled the bike all awry.
To the ground he was cruelly thrown
As the doggy chased that darn cat.
A loud CRACK! was heard
As his femur went SPLAT!
Next time he needs to walk the dog,
A dinosaur he will ride
So that flea-bitten cat chasing mutt
Won't be able to throw him to his side!
But there's not just Himlyns, there are herlyns too! Meet Lauren ... And Gordon, who's definitely NOT girly, Nor is the Roman Himlyn, even though he's wearing a skirt!
